We connect an iPod via Bluetooth to it and it is awesome! Volume can go very loud. It also takes batteries, though we've never taken it on the road, it has stayed safely in our living room. Comes with Klipsch KMC 3, substantial power brick, remote. Unit also has a USB port on back that we used to keep the iPod charged on a dock we set on top of this unit.
